On Saturday, February 22nd, GoParking will open at 13.00 o’clock a remote check-in service at T1 Mall of Tallinn to make check-in even more convenient and faster for flyers.

GoParking upgraded its parking service at Tallinn Airport and opened a check-in desk at T1 Mall of Tallinn to save passengers’ time.

“Starting Saturday, it will be even easier to fly from Tallinn Airport with the launch of Check-in @ T1 Mall of Tallinn. T1 offers a new service from the information desk to check in and print your boarding pass for free,” said Jesse Paananen, GoParking’s Chairman of the Board.

According to Paananen, statistics show that 20-30 percent of passengers prefer to check in for a flight at the airport check-in desk. “We see that the same target group might be interested in using this service in a shopping mall near the airport where there are more opportunities for spending time,” Paananen said.

Passengers can now book a parking space in advance, drive to T1 Mall of Tallinn, check in and enjoy the services of T1 Mall of Tallinn, for example, pre-flight meals or purchasing gifts, which is a good opportunity for people outside of Tallinn starting their trip.

According to the manager of T1, Allan Remmelkoor, T1 Mall of Tallinn is part of the Ülemiste transport hub and will be seen as a pre-terminal for the airport and Rail Baltica in the future, which could include baggage drop-off. “This is also the reason why we are ready to try out different new services and look for synergy from unexpected places. When we have been able to combine travel and leisure for our clients, we have been successful,” said Allan Remmelkoor.

Brothers Juuso and Henri Roihu from the Estonian national sailing team, who are training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, will open the check-in point. As athletes, Roihu brothers are constantly traveling the world and fast and stress-free travel is important to them. Roihu brothers will also take their boat with them to T1 Mall of Tallinn.

T1 Mall of Tallinn is a suitable starting point for air travel. The mall is well connected with the airport by public transport, especially tram no 4, and by taxi.

Check-in @ T1 Mall of Tallinn will be located on the ground floor of the mall at the information desk. Check-is in open from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 9 pm. The service will be available in Estonian, English, Russian and Finnish. The check-in service is available during the opening hours of the T1 Mall of Tallinn. The GoParking parking area is open 24 hours a day at the T1 Mall of Tallinn.

The aim of GoParking is to be the easiest way for flight passengers to reach the airport. GoParking offers airport parking services at shopping centres in Estonia and abroad. Via GoParking´s digital platform the flight passenger can pre-book the parking slot and additional services at the shopping centre before arrival. All the shopping centre services are available before and after the travelling. Similar check-in points will soon be opened in Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
