In 1969, Buddy, a loyal dog, flies into space, but his journey is thwarted by a time capsule malfunction that traps Buddy in space. However, the same time capsule gives the dog superpowers. After 50 years, Buddy crash-lands in a small town where pets are no longer welcome.
