Book presentation “”The Stories of Brave Estonian Girls” in Raamatukodu!

On Thursday, 17th January at 17.30 the publishing house Pegasus will present their book “Lood julgetest Eesti tüdrukutest” (“The Stories of Brave Estonian Girls”). The author of the book, Kätlin Vainola, discusses on the subjects of self-realisation, courage and role modelling with the heroines of the book, and artist Gerda Märtens introduces the exhibition of the pictures from the book.

The book tells of thirty bold girls and women, each of whom has influenced, changed and inspired Estonian life and people in their own way.
All of the stories lead to childhood – because before becoming an actor, president, Olympic winner, scholar, or any other, everyone has been a child.
The book is suitable for anyone interested in exciting events. Because the lives of the heroines of this book have been filled with excitement, but also with a lot of self-transcendence and struggle with difficulties.
