T1 Named the Most Distinctive Brand at the Baltic Brand Awards

T1 Centre received the award for the most distinctive brand at the Baltic Brand Awards held in Riga on Friday. Last year, the same category was won by IKEA.

Alongside T1, the nominees for the most distinctive brand included IKEA, Lidl, Põhjala and Retro FM. According to Kertu Rooma, Marketing Manager at T1, the award is a major recognition for the centre, its tenants and customers, who over the years have helped shape T1 into a clearly distinctive and firmly established destination in Estonia’s retail, events and leisure landscape.

“We have deliberately developed T1 into a bold and distinctive destination that offers much more than shopping. People can exercise here, take care of everyday errands, spend time with friends and family, and organise events. What makes T1 stand out is the fact that so many different reasons to visit – and to come back – get together under one roof,” said Kertu Rooma.

The Baltic Brand Awards recognise brands that have become part of people’s everyday lives across the Baltic States and have left a lasting impression. In addition to distinctiveness, the awards also assess which brands people love, which they perceive as the most human and environmentally conscious, and which brands have grown the fastest.

The awards are based on the Brand Capital brand and lifestyle study conducted by research company Norstat. It is one of the most extensive brand studies in the Baltic States, collecting data on more than 660 brands and using the same methodology for the past 21 years. The ranking of the most distinctive brands therefore reflects which names stand out most clearly in people’s minds compared with others.
